In order to continue moving forward with the ‘War Between the States’ project, we felt it was necessary for you to know where we have been and where we are headed. Back in early 2000, Eric and I had an idea that there were more than just two fans, history buffs and all around enthusiasts of the American Civil War. With the assistance of several great community historians and designers, we  began the first draft of ‘War Between the States’.

The project since then has been a wonderful roller coaster of excitement and learning. Since the early days of WBTS, it has seen its share of creative changes and multiple tech revisions. Currently, the Civil War project breaks down in to the following categories of completeness:

Art –     100% Complete

Design – 75% Complete

Code –    45% Complete

With that being said, we are looking forward to a great year of programming and design. We have two very talented programmers working hard to complete the game. Be sure to take note of the home page, which is where we have placed our high level Milestone list.

So to recap; our goals are pretty straightforward:
   - Complete Civil War project
   - Play online with you
   - Have an enjoyable time reliving the pixels of history
